On September 17, 1787 (Constitution Day) the last day of the Constitutional Convention at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,  Benjamin Franklin was hoping that all of the delegates in attendance would sign the document. Franklin wrote a speech to convince the holdout delegates to sign and asked fellow Pennsylvanian James Wilson to read it to the convention in this sneak peek from the new historical documentary "The American Constitution” premiering in 2020.
